Delete Cyberbullying Scholarship Deadline Approaching

The June 30, 2020, deadline to apply for the Delete Cyberbullying Scholarship is approaching fast!

The scholarship’s goal is to increase awareness of cyberbullying among high school and college students. The award is sponsored by Delete Cyberbullying — an organization dedicated to eradicating cyberbullying and educating students and parents about cyberbullying.

What’s the amount of this award?

The amount of this one-time-only award is $1,000.

What are the eligibility requirements?

  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll for undergraduate or graduate studies at an accredited college or university.
  • Applicants must be a U.S. high school, college or graduate student.
  • Applicants must be planning to enter college in the near future.

How do I apply?

To apply for this award candidates must adhere to the following rules:

  • Each candidate must complete the online application form, which can be found online.
  • Each candidate must submit a self-written 500-word essay answering one of the following prompts: A. Why is it important to to work to delete cyberbullying? or B. How has cyberbullying personally affected you?
  • Each candidate must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form.

How will the essays be evaluated?

Each candidate’s essay will be evaluated based on its content, dedication, devotion and creativity.

When will the winner be announced?

The winner will be selected and notified on July 31, 2020.
