Hocking College Men’s Basketball Team (7-15) fell to Edison State Community College (18-4), 112-69, on Wednesday evening (2/6).
Edison State came out hot in the first-half with Lacey Watson scoring 16 points, shooting 85.7%, and Lamine Kamara scoring 11 points, shooting 75%. Hocking College freshman, Azende Johnson, was able to help out the Hawks with 16 points in the first-half.
The Chargers were able to hold a commanding lead in the second-half with 51 points. Five Chargers scored in double figures, and top performers for Edison State included Watson with a team high of 24 points and Karama with 17 points. Hocking’s Johnson led all scorers with 31 points.
The next game for the Men’s Basketball Team is at Cuyahoga Community College on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 2PM. The next home game for the Hawks will be on Monday, Feb. 18 at 7:30PM against Bryant & Stratton (OH).
