Hocking College Women’s Basketball Team was overpowered by Lakeland Community College, 100-32, at home on Saturday, February 2. The Lady Hawks began the game tied at 10-10 until the Lakers followed with a 28-point run.

The Hawks were led by freshman forward **Shannon Moore** who finished the game with 14 of Hocking’s 32 points. Sophomore guard **Shanyce Cabrales** also scored in double digits for the Hawks with 10 points, six in the first quarter.

Lakeland’s Destiny Khay led the way for the Lakers with a game-high of 23 points, which included seven three-point shots. The Lakers ended with six players scoring in double digits, including all five starters.

The next home game for the Women's Basketball Team will be on Wednesday, February 6 in the Student Center against Edison State Community College.
