NELSONVILLE, Ohio—During the second matchup with Bryant & Stratton, sophomore center Jasmine Manuel had a career night, collecting 34 rebounds in the game, five more than the Bryant & Stratton team. Manuel continued her domination in the paint in the third matchup with the Bobcats as she grabbed 21 rebounds, bringing her season total to 101. To date, Jasmine Manuel is averaging 19.6 rebounds per game, ranking her first in the nation in Division II. Jasmine has also broken the previous school record for rebounds in a game twice this year.
The Hocking College men’s basketball team is ranked the highest in school history at 16th in NJCAA’s Division II. After their two-point loss to Bryant & Stratton, the men fell from their previously highest-ranked position at 18th but fought back against Westmoreland and Terra State to lift them up to 16th in the nation.
