Beginning Monday, Feb. 3 students are able to begin registering for Summer 2020 and Autumn 2020 classes.
Students who register for classes early will receive several benefits, including:
Are you an early-riser or a night-owl? Students who register for classes early have the chance to register for classes that fit their personal lifestyle instead of only getting into classes that are open at the last minute.
Because some classes are only offered in the Fall or Spring, it’s important for students to register early so they can enroll in the classes they need in order to graduate on time.
Beginning this year, most scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis. Those scholarships are now called Priority Scholarships.
Returning full-time students must be registered for the upcoming academic year by March 2, 2020 and have a completed FAFSA on file to be considered for scholarships.
Please contact Doug Wells, Executive Director of the Hocking College Foundation with any questions.
Priority registration begins on Monday, Feb. 3. Below is the week’s schedule for students.
The Student Financial Responsibility Agreement is an electronic form students are required to sign before beginning each semester. This agreement informs students of the financial responsibilities they are accepting by enrolling in classes, living in the dorms and using the meal plans.

Students at Hocking College are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor every term before they register for classes. The relationship a student build with their advisor is important in helping shape their educational and career goals and ensuring that they stay on track for graduation.
Students should be assigned an academic advisor from their department during the first term of classes. This information is located on the student’s WebAdvisor account and/or the student’s Self-Service account.
Advisors are required to keep regular, posted office hours each week to assist students with academic concerns and scheduling of classes. However, students also have a responsibility to become familiar with the college systems and program requirements and to seek out academic advice as they progress through their programs.
Students are able to register for classes using Self-Service.
Self-Service is an all-in-one portal for students to access information about their degree plan, view their class schedule, and register for courses.
