NELSONVILLE, OHIO -- Hocking College will play six home games and 5 away games, with the game against Georgia Military Academy being a neutral site game at Austin Peay University. In five road games the Hawks will travel to four different states (New York, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia) to take on their opponents.
"Being able to travel to different states to play is a big deal for our kids" said Hocking College Offensive Coordinator, Craig Moore. "It gives our kids a chance to be seen by other colleges and universities that may not have been able to see us play in person."
Hocking will open the season on August 26th in a scrimmage against Cincinnati Christian University at home.
Hocking will open the season with a Faculty and Staff Appreciation Game against Monroe College on September 2nd. This will be the first time the two teams will face off since Hocking's inception in 2015.
On September 17th Hocking College will face off against Ashland University's Junior Varsity squad. This game will be Hocking College's Breast Cancer Awareness "Pink" Game.
The following week will be Homecoming and the Hawks will take on Georgia Prep Sports Academy on Saturday, September 23rd.
The Hawks will then kick off a three game road swing at Nassau Community College on September 30th.
