As of Sunday, November 25, the Northern California wildfire has finally been contained after burning for two weeks. According to AP News, the wildfire is now the nation’s deadliest wildfire in a century and has killed at least 85 people, and 249 people are still unaccounted for.
However, this disaster could've been much worse if it had not been for the efforts of the California firefighters and emergency medical technicians who risked their lives to contain the fires and bring aid to the victims.
