Franklin University Announces New Lower Tuition Rates

Written by Tim Brunicardi | Jun 27, 2019 1:18:00 PM

Effective Fall 2019, Franklin University will reduce its undergraduate tuition rate by 24%, lowering the cost from $526 per credit hour to $398 per credit hour.

For undergraduates, this means that their tuition rate will be 66% lower than the national average for private, non-profit universities.

This more affordable tuition rate offers students the opportunity to maximize their financial aid, allowing them to finish their degree program of choice at a pace that accommodates their lifestyle.

How Else Will This New Tuition Rate Benefit Students?

Students will have the option to obtain their degree sooner by increasing their current course load. Students who decide to maintain their current course load can reduce the amount of loans they need to take out. Any students who currently receive financial aid can use those funds to help cover their tuition costs. Lastly, graduates will increase their socioeconomic mobility and be poised to fill impending voids in the job market.

What Other Steps is Franklin University Taking to Help Students?

Franklin University will also freeze its master’s ($670 per credit hour) and doctorate ($748 per credit hour) level tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year.

They will also offer a new master’s degree rate of $536 per credit hour for current military members which will take effect this fall.
