Applying to college is a cumbersome process.
At Hocking College, our goal is to make it as easy as possible, so rather than having to reach out for answers to all of your questions, we have compiled the most frequently asked admission questions here (and if it isn't here, you can reach out to us directly at admissions@hocking.edu).
At Hocking College, our Admissions process is easy! Students just need to apply at apply.hocking.edu, visit campus, and enroll in classes. That's it!
No. Applying to Hocking College is absolutely free for students living within the United States. International students have a $150 application fee.
Hocking College only requires that a student have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Students can apply up to two years out from the semester they wish to start school in. This means that if you want to apply for the Fall 2020 semester, you can submit your application for that term in Fall 2018.
Hocking College is an open enrollment college, so as long as the student meets the general admission requirements, they should expect to be accepted.
Students will receive an official acceptance letter through the U.S. Mail within 7-10 business days of applying.
Students who were homeschooled will need to submit their final transcript from their homeschooling program that shows the courses they took, graduation date, and their final GPA.
The transcript should be signed by whoever administered the homeschool program and should be notarized.
Students who complete their application by the priority deadline of December 31 will be among the first to access Hocking College scholarships and program specific events and information.
That being said, students can apply and register up until the first week of the semester.
