Hocking Hawks Blanked at Nassau CC, 48-0

Garden City, NY --  Nassau CC (6-3) defeated Hocking College (3-5) by a score of 48-0 in the final road game of the season on Nov. 3, in Garden City, NY. The Hawks were limited to minus-24 yards of total offense with 93 yards passing but minus-117 yards on the ground. Four lost fumbles contributed to the rushing yardage and the loss.

Hocking was led by Tony White lll who passed for 60 yards on 9-of-16 passing. He lost 33 yards on six rushing attempts with one fumble. With the 60 yards, Tony became the third member of Hocking’s 1,000-yard passing club, now at 1,013 yards.

Backup QB Tyler Woodard saw some action as well, passing for 33 yards 

Keyadus Hollins led Hocking in receiving with three catches for 45 yards. 

Tristan Storie punted five times for 125 yards despite having his first punt blocked and landed one inside the 20. He also had two kickoffs for 64 yards.

Jalen Engleman recorded 10 tackles to lead the defense. Hocking recorded a season-high 74 tackles.

Hocking will host #17 Monroe College (7-2) in the season finale on Saturday, November 9, at 1pm at Nelsonville-York High School.
