Today is the opening of Lake Snowden's new inflatable water park. The park features several large pieces of inflatable play equipment for swimmers of all ages to enjoy.
In addition, an official ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the park’s opening will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m.
The park also offers a grass and sand beach, and will be open on weekdays from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. Also, since there will be no lifeguards on duty, any visitors 17 and under will have to have adult supervision.

Seasonal pass rates are available and those visitors who are active military and veterans are eligible for discounts.

Lastly, since there will be no lifeguard on duty, swimming is at the individual’s own risk. The maximum water depth is approximately seven feet.
