Village Bakery Scholarship Program Targets Entrepreneurs

If you’re a culinary arts student who aspires to one day own your own food-oriented business, then perhaps you should apply for the Village Bakery Aspire-To-Be Scholarship Program.

What's the Village Bakery Aspire-To-Be Scholarship?

This is a scholarship in which applicants are asked to submit a 2,000 word essay on what fuels their drive to succeed. The focus of the essay should be how their dreams and aspirations can shape the decisions that they make, and the people they become.

What Are the Eligibility Requirements?

The eligibility requirements for this are that applicants must be at least 18 years old; be currently enrolled in a high school or secondary school; be an outstanding student with a GPA of 2.5 or higher; and have a career goal of running their own business.

What Needs to Be Submitted For This Scholarship?

Applicants must provide a CV/resume and proof of being a student by submitting a copy of their student ID or transcript. Applicants can submit their essay, resume, and proof of being a student to scholarship@village-bakery.com. The essay should be submitted as a .doc or .docx by no later than July 31, 2019.

What’s the Award Amount?

Under the terms of this program, Village Bakery awards one scholarship each year in the amount of $1,000 to a single winner. The winner of this scholarship will be notified by mail or email of any scholarship award, as well as being announced on the the Village Bakery website. Students that do not receive the award will not receive any correspondence.
