Two women from the Hocking College Women's Basketball Team are among the Top 10 statistical leaders in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC). Freshman guard, Madeline Almond, ranks fourth in scoring, averaging 20.6 points per game. Sophomore guard, Shanyce Cabrales, is ninth in scoring with an average of 15.4 points per game.
Both players also appear among the Top 10 in three-point shooting percentage. Almond owns the fourth-highest three-point percentage at 39.5%, while Cabrales holds the 10th position, shooting 32.1% behind the arc. Cabrales is also accurate from the foul line, ranking fifth in the OCCAC with a free throw percentage of 79.2%
As a team, Hocking College owns the second-highest three-point shooting percentage at 33.8%. Sinclair Community College leads the OCCAC converting 34.3% of its three-pointers.
