Hocking College Launching eSports Team in Fall 2019

Beginning in Fall 2019, Hocking College will launch its eSports team. The sport will involve competitive, team-based video gaming, as well as tournaments and intercollegiate play which will be done through the National Association of Collegiate eSports (NACE) and TESPA.

Cole Luburgh Wins Men’s Barebow At U.S. National Outdoor Collegiate Championship

Hocking College’s Archery Team competed in the 2019 USA National Outdoor Collegiate Championships which took place in Dublin, OH on May 17-19. The competition was highlighted by Hocking College archer, Cole Luburgh, who dominated the field and became the 2019 USA National Outdoor Collegiate Men’s Barebow Champion.

The 4th Annual Blue vs. Gold Spring Football Game will take place on Saturday, April 27 at 1PM at Polley Field located in Nelsonville, OH. This event is free & lunch will be provided. A live DJ will be performing throughout the day, along with contests and prizes at halftime.

Johnson, Giles Earn All-District Recognition to Lead Hocking Hawks Basketball Honorees

The 2018-19 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) men’s and women’s basketball awards were recently announced. Freshman guard, Azende Johnson, and sophomore point guard, Jarell Giles, were both honored as members of the All-District, Division-III First Team.
