NELSONVILLE—With Robbins Crossing Historical Village closed for the season, Hocking College Construction Management Carpentry students recently got a chance for some hands-on experience before leaving campus for the semester.
For many, 2020 is a year of firsts: from the first time experiencing a major pandemic to the first time experiencing a statewide lockdown. But for many students, it’s also the first time they will take an online course.
Students in Hocking College’s Carpentry program recently got the opportunity to make improvements to the school’s fire truck garage.
Under the direction of Ohio Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JATC) the project took six hours to complete.
