With Christmas only weeks away, it's time to start your holiday shopping if you haven't already. Many Americans plan their shopping around two major retail events, Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Black Friday, which is held on the Friday after Thanksgiving, is when retailers will have major in-store discounts. On the other hand, Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving and is when retailers have major discounts online.

Tomorrow (October 20) and Sunday (October 21) Robbins Crossing will be hosting to a Victorian-inspired funeral, as well as their 2nd Annual Fall Harvest Hootenanny! Both activities are being presented by students from Hocking College’s Natural & Historical Interpretation program.
At Robbins Crossing Historic Village, students get an in-depth look at mid-Victorian life, which includes an intimate look at funerary traditions in the month of October. Read on to discover some of the unusual and dangerous traditions that were popular in the time period our students learn about and interpret for visitors at Robbins Crossing.
