New Philadelphia, OH, -- The Hocking College Hawks men’s basketball team (6-1) traveled to face the Kent State University Tuscarawas Golden Eagles (2-3) and in a tightly-contested game, came away with a 79-73 victory on Tuesday, November 19th.
Nelsonville, OH -- The Hocking College Hawks’ men’s basketball team has displayed considerable offensive firepower as the Hawks rank #1 in NJCAA Division III in points per game at 105.7. The Hawks also rank 1st in Division III in field goals made per game with 42.7, and 4th in field goal percentage at 52.7%. Hocking ranks #3 in the nation in offensive rebounds, grabbing 20.2 per game, which leads to an abundance of second chance points. This offensive outburst has resulted in a 5-1 record through six games.
