This past May, Hocking College proudly graduated all its students from the Police Academy program with a 100% success rate. The graduation took place on May 11, 2018 at The Lodge.
The hot temperatures of summer call for cool days by the pool. Beginning Monday, July 16 and running until Friday, August 24, Hocking College will be offering an Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) program to teach children how to swim and save themselves from drowning if they ever find themselves in that scenario. The classes will be held Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.

Hocking College President Dr. Betty Young recently became one of 35 college presidents who received Phi Theta Kappa’s Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction. The awards were presented at the annual Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Catalyst 2018 convention held in Kansas City, Missouri on April 19-21.
