The Hocking College Men’s Basketball Team (3-9) achieved its biggest win in the program’s history by beating the 8th-ranked team in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division-III, Lorain County Community College (8-3), 85-77 on Sunday, Dec. 9 at Hocking College.
The Hocking College Men’s Basketball team (2-9) fell 79 – 66 to Cuyahoga Community College (8-1), the fourth-ranked team in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) D-II, on Saturday, Dec. 1.

The Hocking College Women’s Basketball team has started the 2018-19 season with a 0-4 record but has been very competitive. Thus far the team has played Potomac State, Patrick Henry, Erie Community College and Lakeland Community College. The Lady Hawks lost close decisions to Patrick Henry (52-49) and Erie CC (58-52)
Hocking College Hawks Basketball Team member Azende Johnson was recently named National Junior College Athletic Association Division-III Player of the Week for Nov. 5-11.
