Hocking College Changes Pathways into Rewarding Nursing Career

Hocking College now offers a new pathway to a rewarding and in-demand career in nursing! The State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA), also known as a CNA, provides basic care and helps patients with activities of daily living. Employment in this field is projected to increase 8% in the next 10 years. Becoming an STNA is an excellent introduction to healthcare and can be the first step to becoming a Registered Nurse. 

There’s still time to register for the next cohort! This three-week program begins on:
  • Feb. 15, 2021
  • Mar. 15, 2021
  • Apr. 12, 2021

Hocking College is not currently accepting applications for the Practical Nursing program as the program voluntarily withdrew from ACEN (Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing) on Sep. 1, 2020.
