Hocking College Men's Basketball traveled to Sinclair Community College on Wednesday night to take on the Tartan Pride in an OCCAC battle. The Tartan Pride came into the game ranked 19th in the nation in NJCAA Division II play. Sinclair would continue their winning ways as they knocked off Hocking College, 109-69.
Hocking College took on Lorain County Community College on Saturday at home and fell to the Commodores 128-93.
Behind a stellar effort from Macy McCollister the Hawks defeat Lorain County Community College 78-56. McCollister registered her third double-double of the year scoring 33 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. Brandy Merritt also had a double-double pouring in 23 points and grabbing 15 boards. Jena Cozad added 10, Kylie Jettinghoff hit for 6, and Ali Bray and Randi Barker both chipped in 4 a piece.
Hocking College traveled to Cincinnati on Wednesday to take on the Surge of Cincinnati State Community College. The Hawks came up short losing to Cincinnati State 105-62.
Hocking College fell short Saturday in a loss to the Edison State Community College Chargers at home, after staging a valiant comeback to no avail. The loss brings the Hawks' record to 7-10 as we pass the half way point in the season and OCCAC action heats up.
